Autumn Seminar

Since 2015, we have organised the yearly Autumn seminar. It is a one-day seminar focusing on the history of medicine and health, open for everyone interested. In the seminar, we gather to hear scientific presentations, to meet other researchers, and to discuss. The Autumn seminar is usually held in late November at the House of Science and Letters.

The purpose of the Autumn Seminar is to gather researchers working on the field and to act as a forum for scientific discourse. The seminar brings together the highly multidisciplinary field of medical history in a context of high-quality presentations and open discussion. We aspire to create possibilities for cross-disciplinary communication, dialogue, and networking. We welcome as speakers all researchers of medical history, regardless of whether their background is in the natural sciences, the humanities, or the social sciences.
