Finnish Medico-Historical Society

The Finnish Medico-Historical Society is a scientific society that brings together researchers working with topics of medical history as well as those interested in it. The purpose of the society is to encourage research and discussion and to promote knowledge on medical history to wider audiences. We organise various activities, such as seminars, lectures, and excursions, for our members. Additionally, the society publishes the yearbook Hippokrates, a peer-reviewed scientific journal focused on medical history.
